Bob, any year should work 95-2000. Have you tried the salvage yards on the west side, they ones I have been in-bent bike- have tubs of them to look through. Mid 80's one should work, just verify tire pressures, and oil API letter designation(s). The second letter will further up the alphabet for the 90's bikes. mine is 99011-24C51-03A and is for a 96, but was printed in 8/95. If you go after the shop manual they are cheaper online and cover all years, main part is 4 speed mid 80's models and then each year after that is a separate appendix. Gives specs and changes for that model year only. Very little has changed, some carb jetting and air bleeds as the specs tighten up and CA bikes have an additional vapor containment system on them courtesy CARB (Cal Air Resources Board). If the dealer parts person just can find it, let me know, I can mail mine over for you to read and copy the important stuff into a notebook, got to watch to copyright laws you know, and then you can mail it back.
